THE DOMAIN
Located on the Tyrrhenian Sea, this three-hectare estate adjoins the coastline to which you have direct access. A pebble and posidonia beach will welcome you, shaded by tamarisk and reeds. Elba is granitic and ferruginous and the northern coastline where the Casa is located is dark in color. A coastal path goes to the miniature port of Magazzini and the equipped beach of Schiopparello. The charming little neighboring hotel offers a delicious and copious brunch if you feel like “farniente” Italian. A ten-minute walk away, a supermarket and a pharmacy.
THE HOUSE
This building, an old farm, has been remodeled into a guest house and completely renovated, combining the Tuscan “Elban” style with the demands of modernity. The beautiful volumes, the rural atmosphere and the direct access to the shore will seduce you as we were.

On the first floor we offer a large studio with kitchenette and bathroom, independent access by external staircase (in Elba granite). This unit overlooks the welcoming terrace with breathtaking views of the sea and the bay of Portoferraio. Less than a nautical mile away you will see the Tuscan red of the old port and the 3 citadels.

South bedroom on the first floor
The living unit to the south, very spacious (35 m2), has its own private bathroom and a beautiful sea view to the west. It overlooks the landing of the first floor with a top fridge available. On the ground floor, you can use the large kitchen.

Getting to the Island of Elba: Ferry connections (1 hour) connect the industrial port of Piombino to Portoferraio every 30 minutes to 1 hour, all year round. Some boats also serve Rio Marina and Cavo, on the eastern coast of the island, but they are less frequent. In summer, you can also reach Corsica (Bastia) directly from Portoferraio.

Piombino Marittima train station is 1 hour 20 minutes by train from Pisa. Low-cost flights to Pisa with Transavia and EasyJet. Transfers from the airport are possible.
Getting to Casa Kaddous: located 7.5 km from Portoferraio, go to the town of Schiopparello. Casa Kaddous is located 200 meters from the shore, the 3-hectare property adjoining the coastline (click on the map opposite for directions).
